5. personal data

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address and all inventory data that you provide to us, for example, when registering or placing orders. Statistical or anonymized data that we collect when you visit our websites and that cannot be directly linked to your person are not included.

6. purposes of data processing

6.1 General
Personal data is collected and processed - in addition to the purpose of fulfilling the contract - for the purpose of enabling the use of our websites (connection establishment), to ensure system security and stability on a permanent basis and to enable the optimisation of our Internet offering, as well as for internal statistical purposes.

We collect, store and process personal data exclusively in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and only to the extent that this is necessary and required for the fulfilment of the contractually assumed service obligations between us and the user or for the provision of the ordered products on our websites. This also includes the storage of data for possible warranty claims after fulfilment of the contract.

In addition, we also use your data within the scope of applicable law for our own marketing purposes in order to optimise our range of services, to be able to meet your needs with us even more conveniently and individually and to draw your attention to services and products in which you might be particularly interested.

Beyond this, personal data is only processed if you have given your consent and have not revoked it.

6.2 Use of your data for advertising purposes
a) Principle
We use the data you provide to fulfil and process your enquiries and subsequently to recommend products and services that may be of interest to you.

b) Sending of newsletters
The registration process for CAM Schweiz AG newsletters takes place via the so-called double opt-in procedure: After sending the corresponding registration form, an e-mail is automatically sent to the address provided. In this e-mail, the recipient is asked to confirm her newsletter subscription by clicking on a link. Only after this confirmation is the entry in the distribution list activated and the recipient will receive our newsletter in the future.

By subscribing to the newsletter and clicking on the confirmation link, the subscriber gives his/her express consent for the regular sending of the subscribed newsletter. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the subscription process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time as well as the storage of the IP address. The subscriber can revoke the consent to the newsletter at any time by sending an e-mail to info@c-am.ch.
